Wireless communications have evolved exponentially, facilitating research for innovative applications on a home, city, and global scale.Internet of Things (IoT) aims to use wireless to create a fully connected world, where devices communicate and exchange data with each other seamlessly.
The purpose of this project was to further assist with research with LoRa by creating tools that assist with Modularity, Executability, and Fast Prototyping.
I successfully implemented a LoRa-enabled IoT research grid in the Drexel Wireless Systems Lab using ~20 USRP N210 Software Defined Radios enabled with a reverse-engineered LoRa PHY layer.
